- No local / couch co-op — each player plays on their own screen.
Joining a group
Play online with up to four people. In the multiplayer menu, choose friend matchmaking and enter the host’s room code. PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series also support platform invitations. Everyone should use the same game version. Local co-op on one system is unavailable.
Progress and difficulty
Co-op progress is saved to your own save data. Welcome Mode is disabled in co-op.
PC connection
PC online co-op needs broadband with a non-symmetric NAT, such as open or moderate.
Windows PC
Crossplay status
Crossplay guidance conflicts as of 25 October 2026. The 13 October launch FAQ lists PC, Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series interoperability, with PS5 planned. A 16 October update instead says crossplay across all four is awaiting platform approval. Treat cross-platform plans as unconfirmed until the developer clarifies the current pairing.
