Almost every co-op list is written for two to four players. If your group is five, six or eight people, most of those recommendations quietly leave someone out. This page only lists games where a group of at least five can genuinely play together in the same co-op party.
We do not claim these games are best at five players — only that five fit. Every card shows the verified party range from our catalog, so you can see whether a game is built for big squads or simply allows them.

Confirmed party-size data only. 54 games currently qualify.

Compare owned games, squad size and platforms for the people you play with.
Party size comes from canonical same-group data in our catalog — how many people can play in one co-op group together. We keep that strictly separate from lobby size, server capacity and same-session player counts, because a two-player campaign can still run on an eight-player server. Only games whose same-group range is marked confirmed and actually contains your group size appear here; unknown and uncertain entries are excluded rather than guessed, and implausible capacities (a sign of leaked server data) are ignored.
Mod-only or unofficial player-count increases never qualify a game. Read our full methodology.
It means a group of at least five people can play together in the same co-op party. Every game listed has verified party-size data showing that five players fit in one group — not five people on one server, in one lobby, or in separate teams.
No — we only claim that five (or more) people fit. Some of these games are designed around four and simply support larger parties; others are built for bigger squads. Each card shows the verified party range so you can judge the fit yourself.
Most co-op campaigns are balanced around two to four players, because shared progression, split-screen and encounter design get harder with bigger parties. Games that genuinely support five or more are a much smaller slice of the catalog.
